Hey everyone, I'm having a problem with my outdoor faucet. I took it apart, removed the nut and stem, and even checked the crawl space to make sure all the pipes look good, but still no water is coming out. I'm beginning to think there might be a clog in the line. Does anyone have tips on how to clear it? I have PEX lines if that makes a difference. Thanks for any help!

It sounds like you might have a rubber 'plug' that came off the end of the faucet's stem. Some freeze-proof faucets have a larger rubber plug, and if it's stuck in the valve assembly, it could be blocking the water flow. You might need a long stiff wire or even a drill bit to retrieve it gently. Just make sure you don't drill too deep!
Another thing to check is whether the valve is actually opening properly. Sometimes, it could just be a malfunction, or there's a shutoff valve somewhere in the line that might still be closed. Definitely worth double-checking. You might also want to consider replacing the valve altogether if nothing else works!
I checked, and the valve is wide open. I traced the line all the way to the main shutoff, and there's nothing blocking it.
