Hey everyone! My spouse recently took off our adhesive mother of pearl tile backsplash, but now we're stuck with a mess of foam 'sticky' pads left behind. They've been using a putty knife so far, but it's tough to get everything off. I don't have any power tools aside from a drill, so I can't use anything like a grinder with a wire wheel. I'd really appreciate any ideas or tips on how to get that leftover foam off the wall. Thanks in advance!

You might want to give acetone a shot in a small area to see if that works. It can be pretty effective at breaking down adhesive residue.

I’ll definitely try that! Do you think regular nail polish remover would do the trick, or should I hunt down pure acetone?
