Hey everyone! I have a room right above my garage, and while checking out the attic, I noticed that there's a plywood wall blocking off some space. I drilled a small hole and saw the attic beyond that wall. I'm wondering if it's okay to create a crawl space through this plywood wall. Are there any potential issues I should consider before doing this? Thanks for your help!

It really depends on your local regulations and how the structure is built. Cutting into that wall could be against building codes, especially since it’s above a garage where fumes and fire hazards are concerns. Make sure to verify your local codes before moving forward!
I’ve done something similar! I have access to my attic through a similar wall and it worked out just fine for me. Just make sure you’re aware of any firewalls or structural components that might be in place.

Awesome, thanks! Did you have to cut a hole in the plywood too, or was there already an opening?
