I'm really frustrated with whoever thought it was a good idea to glue down carpet underlayment foam on concrete. It's not just little patches—it's covering about 50% of my floor! I've heard about using scrapers and isopropyl alcohol, but I'm looking for some solid advice on how to actually get this stuff up. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

If you’re looking for a quick DIY option, I've heard good things about isopropyl alcohol, but you'd need a lot of it to make a dent in that area! Just be cautious and ventilate the space well since it can get pretty fume-heavy. Also, a heavy-duty scraper will be your friend here. Good luck!
I just tackled this same issue last week in my basement. It's called Viking rubber underlayment, and it's glued down really tightly. We ended up renting this special machine that has a blade on the front—it's kind of like a lawnmower. It worked great for lifting the underlayment right off! Turns out there were linoleum tiles underneath it all, so keep that in mind if you try it.
