Hey everyone, I'm curious if anyone has successfully modified their inexpensive hybrid inverter for passive cooling and adjusted its output to account for temperature changes. I recently bought an Easun SMP 5kW inverter for my tiny cabin and I would really love to keep it quiet. I might use a thermal camera to monitor it, but I'm also wondering if anyone here has experience with LTO batteries for this setup.

I strongly advise against removing the fan from your inverter! The fans are essential for keeping the unit and its components cool, which also protects you from potential hazards. I get the noise concern; mine operates without the fan on initially but kicks in when it gets warm. I’m mainly running a NAS with about a 60W load, and I added a small, quiet USB fan blowing into the vents. It works well and keeps it cool enough that the internal fan seldom activates.
