I've been struggling with trumpet vine after it invaded my yard from my neighbor's. They've managed to get rid of it, but I'm going crazy trying to dig up the roots. Now with everything growing, it's hard to dig deep. I'm looking for tips on non-chemical ways to stop it from spreading. If that's not possible, what are the best chemicals to use to kill it? Any advice would be appreciated!

Honestly, one of the few non-chemical remedies I've found is just mowing the sprouts consistently. It's a bit of a pain, but it does help keep it in check.
The key is to dig deep and remove as much of the tuberous root as you can whenever you see it sprouting. It’s tough work, but if you stay on top of it and keep pulling them out, you'll eventually tire them out and reduce their growth.
Thanks for the tip! I found some really deep roots, and I’ll stay on it this year. I’ll make sure to cut them before they can spread.
That won’t work for me since I’m in NYC and can't mow! I’m battling it in my flower beds.
