I recently swapped out my old Magnum inverter for a Growatt 10K hybrid inverter and reconfigured my system from 24 volts to 48 volts. Right from the start, I've run into issues with the inverter. I spent hours on the phone with the dealer who sold it, and while they were as helpful as possible, I wasn't initially planning to rely on any apps. I prefer using the onboard controls, but even that was tricky and the app I tried downloading wasn't functioning properly. The dealer suggested a couple of fixes, but so far, nothing has worked. The inverter is receiving power from the PV and sending power to the 48-volt battery bank just fine, but it won't power any of my structures. There's no fault indicated, and all the wiring has been double-checked with no errors found. The inverter sends power to a distribution box that then connects to smaller structures and my house. I'm not interested in sending this back yet, but I'm questioning if this inverter will be a headache for a long time. Have any of you faced similar issues with the Growatt 10K inverter? Should I stick with it, or is it going to end up being a constant nuisance?

Ugh, welcome to the world of Growatt! Tech support can be rough, and honestly, their manuals often leave you hanging. I’ve heard that their grid-tied systems work just fine, but if you need help, it can be a struggle. I feel for you, it’s a pain when tech doesn't do what it's supposed to.

That's rough! Maybe it’s stuck in 'standby mode' or something? I’ve used a few inverters over the years, and the frustration can be real. Good luck with it!
