I found a DEWALT DWS779 sliding compound miter saw for $369 on Woot. Here's the link: https://tools.woot.com/offers/dewalt-dws779-sliding-compound-miter-saw-12z?cjdata=MXxOfDB8WXww&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=CJ&utm_source=Slickdeals+LLC. I'm currently using a 12-inch Ryobi saw, but I'm wondering if the DEWALT is really worth it or if I should look for a different 'real' saw. What do you all think?

When I got mine 20 years ago, I probably paid double that! I’ve loved using it every day since, so if it fits your budget, I say go for it.
That price isn't too bad! Just to give you some perspective, I picked up the same saw for about $359.10 at Home Depot last June after tracking the price for a good year. If you've been thinking about upgrading, it's a solid choice!

How heavy or loud is it? My current saw is a bit of a beast and pretty noisy.
