I've had my Dewalt pruner for a few years now, and I recently needed to sharpen the blade. It was an easy job, but I was confused when I found a Philips screwdriver on the long end of the onboard allen wrench. I looked over the pruner and couldn't find any Philips screws at all. Am I missing something here?

It sounds like they might have just used whatever allen wrench was on hand during production. Maybe there was supposed to be a Philips screw at some point, but they pulled it before making the final version. Most Dewalt tools don’t use Philips screws anyway.
They probably included that screwdriver as a general part for different versions of their tools. Some Dewalt tools use the screwdriver end while others don't. It's just a way to keep things universal, I guess!
