I'm trying to transport seven 16-foot boards for a barn project using my long-bed Ford. Ideally, I'd like to avoid renting a trailer since I don't know how to tow one. If I have to rent a trailer, I'd need some solid advice on how to secure all 60 pieces of lumber. Any tips on the best way to strap these boards down, whether I use my truck bed or a trailer?
