I recently saw a woman pull up to my house, put on gardening gloves, and start taking cuttings from a plant in my front yard. I'm new to gardening and I thought this was completely inappropriate. I confronted her when I noticed what she was doing, and she looked surprised but quickly left. Shouldn't she have just knocked and asked for permission first?
