Need Help Making a Cute Silicone Case for My Flip Phone!

Hey everyone! I'm working on a quirky project and could really use some advice. I need to create a case for my Cat S22 flip phone, and I'm feeling a bit lost. I initially thought about using air dry clay, but it turns out it's too brittle and not smooth enough for what I want. A friend suggested using silicone by wrapping the phone in plastic wrap and pouring the silicone over it, but I'm confused about how that would work. How much silicone do I pour? Will I need to sand down the excess? Plus, I'm not sure what type of silicone I should even use! My goal is to make it personalized and cute since the phone itself can handle a lot, but I want to make sure the case fits well, especially since it flips open. Any tips or advice would be amazing!

Using a 3D printing pen with sandable filament might be your best bet! I found a cool channel on YouTube called Sanago that has some great tutorials on it. You can definitely get creative with that!

Thanks for the tip! I'm thinking of using the silicone mold for the base, then adding fun details with the printing pen. Those pens have come down in price a lot since I first saw them!
