I'm looking for perennial plants that are great for bees but won't outgrow a small pot in my south-facing garden. I just dug up some bamboo, and I expect to keep finding shoots from it this year, so I want to stick with potted plants to manage the situation better. Any suggestions? Thanks!

English Lavender is a fantastic choice! Not only do the bees love it, but it's also quite resilient. Since lavender thrives in drier conditions, it's perfect for a small pot that might dry out quickly in the sun. Just make sure to keep an eye on watering, especially during hot spells!
You could also try some hardy perennials like Twin Spur, Aubrietta, or Jacobs Ladder. Even thrift and strawberries would work! Just remember that regular watering will be key for any of these in small pots, especially in a sunny spot.
