Maximizing Solar Panel Array Size for My Inverter

I'm trying to figure out the largest solar panel array configuration that my inverter can handle. The inverter specifications are as follows: it has a maximum output of 2100W and accepts DC input from 12 to 150V. The MPPT voltage range is 18 to 140V with a maximum current of 15A. My solar panels are rated at 330W Pmax, with a VOC of 69.7V, ISC of 6.07A, IpMax of 5.7A, and a Vmax of 58V. Based on these specs, would a 2Sx2P configuration be the largest array I could use? Also, is there any way to add more panels to get closer to the 2100W max, perhaps through a combiner box or something similar?

Just a heads up, voltage can increase when temperatures drop, which could push you close to the inverter's max voltage, especially in colder climates. Also, check how much power your specific inverter can actually handle – I've seen some that practically limit to around 1800W under certain conditions.

You could actually go with a 2S3P setup. Just be cautious not to exceed the maximum voltage, but having extra amps is okay. Any current generated over 15A will be lost, but during those sunny days, you'll be generating more power effectively!

You can definitely use more than a 2Sx2P configuration. You can oversize the array as long as you don't exceed the voltage. Feel free to create multiple parallel groups of two panels; I'd suggest 4-5 groups or more if you have the space and panels. It helps maximize production, and remember, panels are often the cheapest part of the setup!
