How to Get Solar Power Into My House Easily?

Asked By SunnyDaze123 On

I'm currently using a Delta Plus 3 connected to a couple of solar panels to power my office setup. I'm looking for the easiest way to bring this power through the wall. I've found some MC4 connectors, but I would prefer using XT60 connectors since they have smaller cables. I've been eyeing a specific product, but I'm having trouble finding a suitable 10AWG version. Am I on the right track or just looking in the wrong places?

Using 12 AWG for part of the run is totally fine, but keep in mind you'll need to switch from XT60 to XT60i at some point. A better option would be to go with an MC4 inlet that you can terminate to XT60i on the inside. Just a heads up, XT60 inlets aren't fully waterproof, which could be an issue depending on where you're setting it up.

Could you recommend any specific products for the MC4 to XT60i transition? I'm a bit lost on where to start!
