Hey everyone! I'm having a bit of a debate with my partner about the best way to add compost to our garden. I think it would make more sense to just flip the existing soil and mix in some compost. However, my partner believes it's easier to completely remove the soil, add the compost, and then put the soil back in. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed because it seems like a lot of unnecessary work for what could be a simpler solution. Any thoughts or advice on the best approach?

Honestly, I just scatter my compost on top and mix it in lightly—no digging for me! My grandmother always watered the area well before planting, and it seemed to do the trick. Less hassle, and the plants still thrive. Happy planting!
I never dig up my garden. I usually just add compost on top every year without disturbing the soil. This way, I keep the natural ecosystem intact, and it works wonders for growth. Why complicate things when you can just layer it? Just water well after adding compost and you’re good to go!
