It can take up to 3 minutes for it to get warm after I turn on the tap, while the bathroom sink heats up immediately. Interestingly, if I run the dishwasher first, the hot water starts flowing faster in the sink, even though the dishwasher initially uses cold water. I know maintenance is in charge of plumbing, but I'd like to have some knowledge or suggestions to share with them when I bring it up. Is there any plumbing device or solution that could help speed up hot water delivery to the kitchen?
