I'm comparing quotes for replacing my front door, and the best one I've received so far is $4500. This includes a full installation with a Thermatru door that's 80x36, two 10-inch sidelites, and re-installation of a half-circle transom above the door. They also listed exterior and interior trim painting and some wood rot repairs. I'm a DIYer but I'm unsure about tackling the transom myself since it's quite tricky. Is this price reasonable for a reputable company in North East Atlanta, or should I look for more quotes?

For what they’re doing, this doesn’t seem excessive. I got a Thermatru door unpainted for around $1800, and that was just for the door itself. If you're having it fully installed, including trim and paint, the price makes sense. Definitely check around to see if you can find a better deal, but I wouldn’t call this price outrageous.
