I have a 4" PVC pipe from my gutter that goes about 50 feet away from the house and ends about 3 feet underground in some light brush. The soil here is sandy. I'm looking for the best method to properly terminate this pipe. Any advice would be appreciated!

One option is to daylight the pipe above ground, which will let excess water flow out without blockage. Just make sure to use a turf restrictor plate to prevent debris from clogging it up. It’s a straightforward solution!
I was wondering if it's okay to have an elbow at the bottom that leads straight up to a pop-up outlet. The pop-up is around 3-5 feet lower than the gutter downspout. Will that cause issues? That's a good distance from the house.
