Finding a Solution for Attaching 8mm Legs to 10mm Couch Slots

Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a pickle here and could really use your advice. I recently bought a couch, but the seller didn't have the legs for it. The slots for the legs are 10mm wide, while it seems like all the furniture legs available out there are 8mm. I'm trying to figure out how I can use 8mm legs with these 10mm slots. Does anyone have suggestions or solutions for how I can make this work? Thanks a bunch!

Glad to help! These nuts seem like heli-coils, right? They could work perfectly for what you need!

Here’s a link to something that can help: [https://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Conversion-Connections-Compressed-Automobile/dp/B0CZLM88W2](https://www.amazon.com/Stainless-Conversion-Connections-Compressed-Automobile/dp/B0CZLM88W2). You’ll find similar options on Amazon for different lengths that might work for your couch.

Ohh I didn't realize hammer-in nuts were an option! Thanks for the suggestion!

You might want to check out Amazon for 8mm furniture legs that come with hammer-in nuts. If you're able to pull out the existing fittings, you can glue or hammer in the new 8mm nuts, provided that suits your setup. If you can post a picture, I could offer more tailored advice!
