Hey everyone! I have a question about cover crops. I learned that it's a good idea to plant them between seasons, so I went ahead and did just that. I ended up with some daikon, but now it seems like a lot of wheat is coming in too, along with maybe some peas. I'm not quite clear on what I was supposed to do with the cover crops to improve my garden this year. I feel like I might've missed some important steps. Any advice?

When picking cover crops, plan to kill them off after harvest, or choose ones that die naturally. This season, I planted Fava beans and Buckwheat. The Buckwheat thrived until winter and died off after the frost hit. The Fava beans, however, made it through winter, and I ended up manually cutting them down in spring by snapping their stems. You might want to do something similar!
