I've read that sulfur powder can be effective, and I picked some up that I want to use by making a paste and applying it with a paintbrush. But I'm unsure about the correct ratio of sulfur to water for this method. I want to be cautious and not overdose my plants, so I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this treatment. I've had good luck using both sulfur and diatomaceous earth to handle mite issues. I found that mixing the sulfur powder with water and using a spray bottle made application super easy. Just be sure to cover the entire plant thoroughly. After it dries, a powdery film stays on it, which seems to protect the plant. I haven't had any issues for over six months now, so fingers crossed!
