As a gardening enthusiast, I'm trying to attract more bumblebees into my garden for my kids to enjoy. I've noticed that aside from daffodils, which didn't attract them much, there hasn't been much in bloom this month. I'm curious about what other plants flower in April and might be appealing to bumblebees for next year.

Pulmonaria is a fantastic choice! It started blooming in early March and has been popular with bees. Cowslips are also great; they usually attract a bee or two. My apple trees just started flowering, plus plum and gooseberry were buzzing with pollinators when they were in bloom. Strawberries are just beginning to flower now too.
I've noticed comfrey being super popular with bees right now too! They seem to be really busy in my garden. Also, if you leave some grassy areas uncut, dandelions and small pink flowers are great for attracting them.
Definitely Pulmonaria! Also, cherry blossoms and other tree flowers are a hit at this time. If you can add a few of those to your garden, the bees will love it!
