I'm on the hunt for decent diamond stones for sharpening chisels that are priced around $40. Are there any recommendations that fit this budget?

If you're looking for something cheaper, you might want to check out some recommendations from Rex Krueger. He highlighted some budget-friendly options that could be decent for chisels. I tried a couple of his suggestions, and while they’re not top-of-the-line, they’ve handled a couple of my chisels just fine!
Honestly, finding good-quality diamond stones under $40 is tough since they usually cost more than whetstones. I'd recommend checking out the Shapton Kuromaku series—specifically the 1000 and 5000 grits. You could also snag a lower-priced 120 grit diamond stone to help flatten them when needed.
