So, I had a bit of a mishap with my wife's succulent flower. It had taken months to bloom, and just as it was starting to show off, I accidentally closed the window in the dark and cut off the entire flower stem. My wife is being super understanding, but I still feel terrible! The stem was cut right at the top where the flowers were coming from, and she trimmed it up to make it look nicer. I'm wondering if the flower will grow back, or will the plant try to start a new stem? Have any of you dealt with this kind of situation? How long might it take for the plant to produce another flower?

Your succulent might just surprise you! It could produce another flower stalk either this year or next if conditions are right, so keep an eye out! Give it a little love and care, and it should be fine.
Don't beat yourself up! Mistakes happen to everyone. Your plant will probably flower again at some point. As a bonus, maybe consider getting her a new plant to cheer her up while you wait!
It really depends on the type of succulent. Some will flower just once and then die off, while others can bloom again pretty soon. If it's a species that can flower multiple times, there’s a good chance it could blossom again! Just remember, that broken stalk is finished, but you can try putting it in water to enjoy any remaining blooms.
