I'm in the market for a new string trimmer and I'm debating between getting a Quick Lok system or just a dedicated string trimmer. I already own a compressor, hedge trimmer, and sabre saw that I'm really happy with. What would be the best option for me, and why?

If you think you might ever want other attachments for the Quick Lok system, go for that. I have the Quick Lok, and I love it! I also have the brush cutter attachment, which works great for tough jobs. Plus, I'm considering getting a broom attachment to clean up grass clippings. But if you'll only need the string trimmer, a stand-alone might be the better pick for you.
How heavy-duty do you need it to be? I have a small yard, and the Quick Lok has worked perfectly for me. I’m about to try out an edger attachment, and so far, it’s comparable to the gas-powered ones I've used before. If your yard isn’t too large or complicated, you might find the Quick Lok just right!
