I have the M18 2-gallon wet/dry vac (model 0880-20), and I'm curious about its compatibility with air tip accessories. Should I just go with getting a 1-1/4" Round Brush Tool (49-90-2017) instead? Also, I'm considering some other tools like rolling vacuums. Are all M18 batteries interchangeable, or do I need to buy new RedLithium or Forge batteries? The different SKUs for the batteries are really confusing, and I'd like to know if the various sizes offer the same power. What's the deal with fuel SKUs versus non-fuel? Thanks for any help!

For air tip accessories, you should be good to go! If the dimensions match the M18 2-gallon vac, it’ll work just fine. As for the batteries, any M18 battery will fit your vac. I’d recommend picking up the M18 XC 5.0 when it's on sale. Skip the pricier Forge battery; save that cash for more XC 5.0 batteries and vac accessories! ?

Is the XC 5.0 the 'high output' one? I’ve got two HO batteries (one 12 and one 8) and a 5, plus two old CP2.0s. Any charts for when the HO or Forge batteries are useful?
