Is it safe to chop my plant or should I leave it as is?

I'm wondering if I should cut my plant or if that would kill it. Will the plant survive if I decide to chop it?

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend chopping, but if you do it carefully, your plant will likely survive. Just be sure to follow some basic care tips after that!

You're good to chop it! Just make sure to leave about 10cm of the trunk above the soil, that's where the new growth will sprout from. The plant has a strong root system, so it should bounce back quickly. Plus, you can even cut it into smaller pieces if you want!

Totally chop away! Just remember to take care of the cut ends—spray them with hydrogen peroxide to prevent rot and let them sit for a day before replanting to let them callous over. It's a smart move, and it’ll help your plant thrive!
