I'm working on a DIY project where I need thin plywood planks (around 50cm long, 4-6mm thick) with precise, shallow holes about 2mm deep and 20mm wide. The only tools I have at home are a drill/screwdriver and a rotary tool similar to a Dremel. I'm considering finding a hand router, but I don't do woodworking, so I'm hesitant to buy a specialized tool for a one-off project. I've seen that forstner bits might work for what I need, but I'm unsure if I can use them with my current tools. Also, I've read mixed info about depth limitations. Any suggestions?
