So my contract with Reliance for the water heater is finally over. I had thought about moving out, but now it looks like I'm stuck here for a while. I'm considering getting a new water heater for my 1000 sqft place, something around 40L. I need some advice on how to purchase a new one and what the process is for returning the old heater back to Reliance. I have a few options: 1. A free replacement with another 7-year contract for the same type of electric 40L water heater at $21/month, but there's a $200 cancellation fee in the first year. 2. Paying Reliance $250 to drain and take away the old water heater, which would allow me to buy a new one elsewhere. 3. Buying out the old water heater to keep it. 4.
