Hey everyone! I've got a big 4th of July party coming up, and I'm planning to take my Dewalt radio outside from the garage. It'll be running for about 12 hours with Bluetooth connected to play some Apple Music from my phone. What size battery would you recommend for that? I'm also a bit worried about the heat in July. Should I just keep it plugged in at my workbench instead? Thanks for any advice!

From my experience, a 5ah battery worked great for my old Dewalt radio, and it ran all day at a medium volume. I can't speak for the latest models, but I’ve noticed that volume level really impacts battery life. If you're blasting bass-heavy tracks, don’t be surprised if it only lasts 4-5 hours. Also, make sure you have some shade for the radio to keep it cool!
Honestly, a 5ah battery should do the trick! It should easily power your radio for the entire party. Just grab the biggest battery you have, and you should be set. If you're dancing and cranking the volume, you might want to have a backup battery just in case!

Good to know, thanks for the tip!
