What kind of chip are we talking about? Instead of buying a new hatchet every time, you might want to invest in a sharpening system. It's much more efficient in the long run.
I tried a sharpening puck, but it didn't work for me either. I'm not sure if it was just a bad puck or if I wasn't using it right. I followed tutorials online, but my hatchet never got sharp. If you have any other tools or methods that you recommend for sharpening, I’m all ears!
