I’ve had a lot of success with the Dulux 4in1 primer; it really seals well and doesn't show through. Just keep in mind, on new pine or sappy wood, you might need to do two coats. There are also some techniques for applying the first coat, like watering it down or not sanding too smooth so it adheres better.
Honestly, I don’t trust those two-in-one products. It's like shampoo and conditioner combined—I just feel like something's gotta give. I prefer using a traditional primer for that extra assurance.
