Hey everyone! My old lawn mower has seen better days and it's finally given up on me. I'm on the hunt for a new electric mower but I need to keep it on a budget. I'd love a model that comes with a bag to collect the grass clippings. I have two areas of grass in my front and back yard that need some serious help—they've gotten out of control, and I don't want to be the laughing stock of the street anymore! Any suggestions?

Depending on the size of your grass, I've been using a McAllister battery-powered mower from B&Q for about three years now, and it's done really well! The two batteries are a lifesaver too. They offer a great balance between performance and price.
Check out local Tool Stations or Screwfix; they often have basic, budget-friendly mowers. I bought one a year ago, and it's just as good as the branded ones I had before. Definitely worth considering, especially if battery power is too pricey right now.
If there's a Lidl nearby, they have lawnmowers in their middle aisle this week! Really good prices and they might have exactly what you need.
You might want to look at TrashNothing; you can find some good deals on used mowers there if you're trying to save more cash!
If you're thinking battery, I'd highly recommend checking out the Husqvarna Aspire LC34. It's a solid option if your grass patch is under 100m². It's been great for me!
You could also hit up online marketplaces or community boards; sometimes people are just looking to get rid of their old gear quickly.

I second that! I've got a similar one, and it's worked like a charm for my terrace garden.
