I just bought a house last week, and I've noticed a couple of issues with the backyard. It tends to hold water after it rains, which means my dogs can't go out there for days until it dries up. On top of that, one of my dogs digs a lot, which isn't helping the situation. My husband is getting frustrated because he thinks the dogs are ruining our new home. I'm looking for advice on how to solve both the water retention and the digging issues before this becomes a bigger problem. Any suggestions?

Just keep in mind that it's all about consistency! But I get it, training can be tricky, especially if they're only misbehaving when you're not around.
