I've got a window that reflects sunlight directly, heating up the area where the reflection lands. I'm wondering if there's any exterior tint, spray, or product that can significantly reduce this reflection. I'm already familiar with applying thermal window tint on the inside to block thermal radiation, but I'm looking for something for the outside.

I had a similar problem before. My neighbor ended up installing a full-size removable screen that made a big difference. I just put screens on half of my double-hung windows, and it helped a lot!
An exterior solar screen could work well for you. It provides some privacy and keeps pests out, plus it’s designed to cut down on heat and glare.
You might want to look into static window treatments like tints or options often referred to as 'milk glass'. These types usually come with a UV reflection rating and can help dull the glare. There are even reflective foils that can act like mirrors, but you'll want something that absorbs light instead.
Is there a specific type that can be applied outside? I'm really looking for something that absorbs heat without completely frosting over the glass.
You might want to check out mesh window covers; they’re pretty common in Texas. These covers help block the heat and can be effective at reducing reflection too!
If your window has one, consider putting a new black exterior window screen on it. This could help reduce that reflection you're dealing with.
