I'm on the hunt for some good magnetic bars or strips that I can router into the back of live edge boards I've cut. I've tried a few options but haven't found any magnets that really do the job. Any recommendations?

I've had great luck with these magnetic strips I found on Amazon. I usually stack two layers and seal them with epoxy for added strength. If you route a deep groove, it makes for a really solid surface to stick knives onto!
You should give K & J Magnetics a shot. They've been my go-to for years, and they offer a huge selection along with instructions on how to use them effectively.
