Is JLCPCB Still a Viable Option for PCB Printing and Assembly?

I tried to order a PCB for my latest project and was shocked to find that the tariff and import fees are now pushing my $150 order to an additional $300. JLCPCB has been my go-to for DIY projects, but with these changes, I'm wondering if there are any reliable alternatives in the US that can print and assemble PCBs at prices comparable to what JLCPCB used to offer before the tariffs. I'm not trying to dive into political debates, but this trade situation feels really frustrating.

Unfortunately, there aren’t many options for PCB assembly in the States. OSHPark, for example, doesn’t do assembly, and after factoring in tariffs, JLCPCB is still likely to be cheaper. Most domestic manufacturers cater to government contracts and may not be interested in small DIY orders.

It's a real bummer, especially for those of us who like using SMT components.
