How to Start Reducing Cooling and Heating Bills with Solar?

I'm looking to cut down on our cooling bills during the summer, and eventually, I'd like to also reduce our heating costs in the winter. I know that I might need a battery setup for the winter side of things. As a licensed general contractor with experience in major electrical work and access to master electricians, I'm curious about the best initial steps I should take to determine the right solution for my needs.

The most cost-effective approach would be to go with a grid-tied solar installation. That's what most people find works well! If you're interested, I can help you figure out how to size and price out the system. Also, think about whether you want a flexible setup that’s easier to relocate in the future. It could save you hassle down the line!

Have you considered looking into an Eg4 hybrid mini split system? It's a great way to manage cooling efficiently, and you might find it interesting if you haven't checked these out yet. Just a suggestion since I know you already have mini splits installed!
