After that, the contractor they hired (who came recommended by Menards) started tearing down their kitchen before confirming that all the necessary items were actually delivered. Turns out, they didn't order over 50 items at all! Menards previously assured my dad that everything was ready, so we're really caught in a mess here. Now, my parents have been without a functioning kitchen for weeks, and they were told the installation would only take 3-4 days after delivery. This whole situation is really stressful, especially since my parents are diabetic and didn't see this coming. What should we do?
