What’s a Fair Resale Value for My Old Rolling Toolbox?

I recently bought a rolling toolbox with the old style handle before they switched to the low-profile design. It's been lightly used since I usually take my gear in a Packout setup to competitive Nerf events. Now, I'm thinking of switching to the new rolling drawer when it's available. I realize I won't recover the full amount I paid, but my toolbox has been mostly in the garage and is in pretty good shape. What do you think would be a reasonable price to ask for it?

Considering the rising prices for rolling toolboxes lately, you might have a shot at selling it for close to the original price when demand is high. But if you're looking to sell it now, aim for about 50-75% of the new price. That way, it's a lot easier to find a buyer quickly!

In my area, Facebook Marketplace has loads of rolling toolboxes listed. I suggest checking what similar ones are going for there. Just be prepared; sometimes the prices can be a bit wild given who's selling them!
