Hey everyone! I'm a high school teenager dreaming of having my own garden someday. I've realized I have a pretty big fear of bees and wasps, and since they'll be buzzing around my future garden, I want to figure out how to get over it. I can handle most other bugs, but bees really freak me out. I've tried just standing still while they fly around, but it's tough! I just want to get past this fear so it won't be a concern for me in a few years. Any tips or advice would really help!

As a former bug-phobic gardener, I can tell you that you'll get used to them! Spending time in your garden will help you see bees as allies. They are great for your plants, and soon enough, your love for gardening will overshadow your fear. Honestly, I never thought I’d say that, but it's true!

Same here! I was super scared of bugs too. Now, I just let them do their thing as long as they don’t crawl on me. Gradually getting used to being around them has really helped!
