I'm looking to expand my Jackery 1000v2 setup and I've come across two different battery options: a 12V 200Ah battery and a 24V 100Ah battery. I've watched some YouTube videos about it but I'm still on the fence about which one would work better for me. I'm hoping to buy a battery today and would love recommendations on reliable brands and any good deals you might know of. Thanks!

The choice between 12V and 24V really comes down to how much power you want to push to your Jackery. Both batteries have the same capacity in terms of energy, but the discharge rates differ. Jackery can handle a max of 10A. So, the 12V set up would provide around 120W while the 24V would give you up to 240W. Also, if you're feeling adventurous, you could consider going with a 48V system since the Jackery can take up to 60V input. Just keep in mind you'll need an MPPT charge controller to manage those batteries!
Got it! So the MPPT charge controller connects the solar panels to the battery, right? Since I'm still learning, I just bought a Victron 100/20 with Bluetooth. This should work fine if I go with 24V batteries, then?
