What Type of PID Controller Do I Need for a DIY Beekeeping Instavap?

I'm looking to build my own instavap for beekeeping mainly to save some money and because I enjoy DIY projects. The challenge I'm facing is finding a PID controller that operates on 12/24V DC since I want to use my 20V tool batteries for power. I've noticed some controllers advertise needing a 12/24V DC input but then claim to output 110/220V, which confuses me. Does the output voltage actually matter in this case? Am I misunderstanding how these controllers work?

You might want to consider if you actually need a PID controller or if a simpler thermostat would suffice for your project. After doing some research, there are thermal switches that could cut off at specific temperatures, which might work better for what you're trying to achieve without the complexity.
