DeWalt vs. Metabo Framing Nailers: Which One Should I Get?

I've been checking out the updated DeWalt framing nailer and wanted to hear from anyone who's had some time with it. Is it really worth the investment, or should I consider going with a Metabo instead?

I swear by Metabo for cordless nailers! They've never let me down, and I've had way more consistent experiences with them.

The DeWalt nailers? Honestly, they haven't impressed me much. However, I’ve run about 20k nails through my 21-degree model without a hitch! It's been solid for toe nailing and everything.

That’s awesome to hear! I was leaning towards the DeWalt, but now I’m on the fence. Maybe I should just go with a pneumatic instead.

I just don't vibe with the flywheel design of the DeWalt nailers. The Metabo HPT or Milwaukee style is way better with a pneumatic piston. In terms of reliability, they’ve both been decent for me, but Metabo has outshone DeWalt for consistent nail sinking with way less wait time.

I’ve tried the DeWalt nailer and honestly, I’m not a fan. It just didn’t perform well for me.
