Hey everyone! I recently repotted my Monstera deliciosa about two weeks ago using just the regular Miracle-Gro tropical plant soil. Since then, I've lost a leaf, and the new leaf that popped up turned completely brown within a single day. To make matters worse, I've noticed mold growing on top of the soil. When I watered it a few days after the repotting, I only watered until it was coming out of the pot's bottom. What could be going wrong here?

It sounds like your soil might be holding onto too much moisture, which is causing both the yellowing leaves and the mold. One trick that could help is to mix perlite or orchid bark into your soil to create a chunkier texture that allows for better drainage. This should help your Monstera breathe a bit better!
Do you think adding leca can help with drainage too? I'm stuck at home for a couple of days and don't want my plant to suffer more.
