Is Miracle Grow All Purpose Soil Good for Starting Seedlings?

I asked my brother to grab some seed starting mix from the store, but he came home with Miracle Grow All Purpose Soil instead. I'm looking to grow peppers and I'm wondering if this soil will work for germinating my seeds and supporting the seedlings. Any insights would be appreciated!

I've actually used Miracle Grow Indoor Potting Mix for starting seeds and had no issues getting them to sprout. It's worked fine for me!

Just a heads up, seed starting mixes aren't really meant to sustain seedlings. You're going to need to transfer your peppers into regular potting soil eventually because the seed mix lacks the nutrients necessary for growth. But for germination, it should be fine!

Exactly! Seed starting mixes are designed to be sterile and low in nutrients initially so the delicate new roots don’t burn. Once they’re ready, just transplant them into nutrient-rich soil to support their growth.
