I'm not the best at keeping my outdoor potted plants watered properly. I've heard about self-watering planters, and I'm curious if anyone has suggestions or experiences with them, or any other tips that might help!

I've had great success with self-watering planters that have a built-in water level gauge. They make it really easy to keep track of how much water your plants are getting. Highly recommend them!
One simple trick is to set an alarm on your phone to remind you when to water your plants. It’s a low-tech solution but super effective!
This is definitely the way to go!
In addition to regular watering, it’s important to visually check your plants for pests or diseases. I use ollas or clay watering spikes that you can fill with water (even wine bottles work!) They slowly release water into the soil as it dries out, which is super handy!
I just ordered some! I change out my seasonal planters every few months so I’m excited to try them!
