Can I use a night light as a grow light for my bathroom plants?

I'm interested in growing some plants in my windowless bathroom, but I'm not sure if there's a grow light that resembles a night light. Ideally, I'd like something compact that I can plug into an outlet, which also turns off when the main light is on. Any suggestions?

I haven’t come across a grow light that mimics a night light, but it’s crucial to consider the light needs of your plants as well. If you’re leaning towards low light plants, like snake plants, make sure to check their light requirements first. Most low-light plants can handle less, but they still need some decent light to thrive. A smart switch with a light sensor might work well if you want to automate it. Unfortunately, regular night lights won’t cut it for plant growth; they simply don’t emit the right kind of light. You could end up with a dead plant instead!

Got it! I was hoping to keep it simple, but I understand now—thanks for the heads up!
