Choosing the Right Mower and Battery Bundle for My Lawn

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on landscaping tools for my home in southern Florida, where I've got about 13,000 sq. ft. of grass to maintain. Right now, I'm mainly interested in a mower and a string trimmer, but I plan to add a chainsaw and a blower to my setup when I find a good deal.

I've been eyeing the ***M18 Battery Mower*** and would love to hear about your experiences with it. Plus, I'm curious about the life cycle of the ***Forge batteries*** compared to the ***High Output batteries***. There's a bundle available for the mower, which includes two of each type of battery and a couple of chargers, all for $1,300 before tax. Do you think it's worth it to sell the ***High Output*** batteries and just keep the ***Forge*** ones? Thanks in advance for your help!

I've read that the life cycle of the Forge batteries should be better, but since they haven’t been out long, it’s tough to say for sure. The 12.0 High Output batteries reportedly tend to fail more often. Plus, the mower that comes with the Forge batteries is said to have some improvements over earlier models that had issues. I’d recommend going for the bundle with the Forge batteries if you can!

Thanks for this insight! I really appreciate it.

Is that upgrade to solve the problem with the motor mount? I was thinking about waiting for the second generation, but if they’ve already fixed the first one, I might snag a deal on that!
